New Detector Coming Soon

Checked connecting both pigtail for headphones and coil connector.

Coil connector on control keyed on top, is more or less idiot proof for proper alignment.

Pigtail connector not as idiot proof. Pigtail when properly keyed and screwed up will extend straight down beside handle. See this pic, detector laying on its left side.

Good looking rig. I wished you lived near salt water. I would need to see this in action before I pony up.

Reports look good from testers. All I can say. Better have shovel that digs deep.

Btw, folks who hunt Culpeper area. Correction here. Detector is being tested currently in Culpeper area. Don’t know by how many folks. This was said this morning on Dankowski forum by NASA Tom himself. I have not seen any direct feedback from the area as far as the detector goes. My comments above were based on reports from salt water/sand testers’ comments made publically on forum.

Nothing worst then digging 2 foot turds.

Yeah there is too. Digging 3 foot deep ones.

I think I maybe onto something. Notice how the detector sounds on low conductors. Give a two tone effect while sweeping. So in salt water running mixed mode, the ones that give that tone I would maybe dig. The one toners I would leave behind. Probably a higher conducive coin. We’ll eventually see some good detector purchaser beach reports hopefully. Weather may be a factor though being wintertime.

Those 3 foot deep turds better look something like this::D

I would only use it in saltwater. I don't think it would have the separation abilities in the field I would be looking for.

Taller folks may be wondering on length of detector to see if it indeed will fit them.

Detector length.
Here below detector is fully extended in last hole. Ruler is flush with bottom with coil cover ON. Folks maybe can judge distance at hand grip to see if it will fit them.
