congrats on a great hunt and a great time with your granddaughter! and how cool is it children tend to not to see items classed as "trash" like we do, everything that's dug up is indeed real "treasure", lol. 
it would be awesome (maybe when she's a bit older) to take the gold and silver you've found together and have something special made out of it for her.

Thanks Pete. Neat idea! I've already given her a child-size silver ring with 'aquamarine' stone that was a beach find from several years ago. She's careful to take care of it and keeps it in a treasure box that I made for her shells and other goodies.congrats on a great hunt and a great time with your granddaughter! and how cool is it children tend to not to see items classed as "trash" like we do, everything that's dug up is indeed real "treasure", lol.
