I hit up a little of the beach down here in SoCal recently, dry sand, 2 junk rings and some change and a game horseshoe!
Wish I had a salt machine but dang it... only hit a salt beach 2x a year maybe. And short bits at that.

yeah You dont go to saltwater much,long drive for you.
