If I remember correctly it cost 15 dollars to ship it. The payment plan stavr uses is probably the only downfall. He uses some oddball Russian PayPal or accept western union. Although I'd order from him again and his products r worth the hassle

glad you got a scoop you liked - I was going to Stavr, since I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase, but you have fresh water, no rocks and plenty of muck - might as well lower the weight with aluminium and go with what you just bought.

Just add a mesh like what dogpound did you will do fine.

quoted for truth.

lol "oddball Russian PayPal" yes, he doesn't speak english perfectly, ships from overseas, uses weird payment options, confusing description on website, you have to custom your own handle, but in the end, Totally worth it.

No one afaik is downright unsatisfied with any of his scoop options (many styles) and they can't be all wrong. I am really happy at the workmanship on the scoops myself and can't be more satisfied. And Ruslan is VERY helpful!

If you ever use Western Union, be sure to send to Ukraine not Russia. I made that mistake and fortunately I could change it at the post office.

The screen is a great idea! Like what you've done with yours. Thanks for posting the pics , I might be stealing some of ur ideas for mine.

If your hunting in the water get or make yourself a floating sifter. Use a screen with 1/4" holes to catch the small stuff. Once you get used to a floating sifter you will never want to hunt without one.
