Bummed, I have to buy another set of headphones. Bought these SRPG's not so long ago. The wire broke at the junction where it joins the phono jack. I see that Sun Ray realized they had an issue and now say, the wire jacket is fused into the jack. Are they doing anything for us poor souls that bought them before the engineering fix ? Is it worth sending them in for repair ?

It's surely worth a call to ask. Maybe they will at least repair it for a decent price.

If you bought them new and registered them with Sunray, you should have a warranty.

Jeez, what a dummy I was. After writing this post I looked at the thing and realized, it's a phono jack. This morning I checked and had a mssg from "Jeff in Georgia" telling me the same thing. Thanks Jeff. Already ordered a new jack and yes Jack, I have a good soldering set up and am quite proficient at such things. Some shrink tubing to reinforce the cable exit and I'll bet it'll be better than factory. Thanks again Jeff.
