Well I got a steal per se....😉😂 I got this baby for literally a dime over its melt value! It was kind of cloudy from poor storage and so the coin store owner had stuck it in a box of Benjamin Halves and wanted just melt value! Got it for $13, and put it in the baking soda/water/tin foil solution and shined her back up! It's a 1987 commemorative silver dollar of the 200th anniversary of the Constitution. As always with proofs, the pictures just don't it justice - Beautiful coin for $13!

Nice! You never know what you're going to find at those cash for gold places too. A lot of times they have teenagers working there that don't know the value of some of the coins they're selling or even mislabel the coin. My dad got a 1928 peace dollar that was marked as "1923" for $25, and made $300 off of that.

Antique stores will also have boxes of miscellaneous foreign coins that you can buy for cheap. I've heard of a couple people finding silver coins in those.
