I watched the videos and all about what readings coins came up as. What do rings and other jewelry come up as?

Gold will be in the pull-tab/zing range (14-55 or so) but silver will sing like a coin....upper 70s to mid 80's.
Do you have the MXT or the MXT Pro....the reason I ask is that the Pro has 7 tones so the silver will talk to you. The gold tone is a low tone, but very solid and repetitave.

I have the MXT. You are right. The silver will sing. The Rosie I found came up as 1 cent, 10 cents.

Gold jewelry usually comes in as low as the foil range, up to pull tab range. However, they can also come higher or lower on the VDI scale depending on the shape, mass and karat value.
I once pulled a small fragment of a fine 14K chain that VDI'd around -1 to 4.

It's the same VDI for all White's. 14k and 18k bracelets and necklaces will come up as VDI 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, around in that area. Chunkier gold rings will come up as higher VDI, 20s, 30s, 40s.
The VDI are the same as my M6 and VX3. I made a video with some VDI numbers on it. Advance to 2:30 and you'll see what a 14k figaro rings up as:
