Default Found awhile ago.. Old padlock/??

I found these awhile ago and posted on here, but now I'm just curious if someone could date this padlock? And if someone could let me know what this other thingamajig is?

Are there any identifying marks on the lock??
Sometimes there are stampings on the keyhole cover that help in the ID.

The other item I am know help with...

I careful cleaning might produce some markings. Old padlocks usually had them. After some reading, I learned keyhole covers weren't used until at least 1840. The other object......no idea.

That is a hasp that would go on a leather strap. seems like I should know what its from but i cant think of it.
