It was nice yesterday and decided to skip a couple of hours of To-do list chores and get the MD out. Only the second time ever so far. I'm really liking this hobby and will definitely put some time into it. I thought I found a ring right away, but it's too small and looks to be copper or brass. I ended up with a few clad dimes, 3 wheats, a 1965 rabies tag, a small spill that lost a fight with a lawnmower, a Sacagawea dollar, 8 quarters including a 1943 silver, and a pile of crusties, and a bucket of garbage. Damn, my yard is full of junk.:wow:. The wife was impressed I found so much in a short time that I found a note this morning saying that she bought me an AT Pro bundle with the carrot last night after I went to bed. It should be here by the end of the week.:mder: Now I can move my 6 year old up to the Timeranger I was using. A couple decent pinpointers for him and my daughter and well be the kings of the yard:kingdances: Thanks for checking out my meager finds and exciting news.

That's a great hunt! Sounds like you have a fun yard to hunt in and a family ready to spend some time together doing it.

Great story , like the old saying goes , Family that MDs together stays together .
Congrats to a cool family ! HH
