grenade fuse &army makeup compact

Found these today. I have no idea why they were in a farm field in New Hampshire.
This is my first grenade fuse for the year.
Can anyone tell me exactly what it is from.
The army makeup compact was a first as well.

Absolutely. Almost all grenades used the same fuse. Just different color handles.
