Finally 1800's!

I searched an old farm house after work today. I found some clad, 2 wheats, 1929 Merc, and a 1883 Indian. The Indian and the wheats aren't in the best of shape, there must be something in the soil that attacks copper? The Merc looks good though!

Is the 1cent1883 is the "3" re-punched or the second "8" re-punched? Either would be a great find. Nice finds.
 
Congrats on the 1800's IH. I also found a 1891 IH that put me into the century before last for the first time. Kinda mind boggling that they have sat there that long :yes:
 
Nice finds Stanger..Love when the first two numbers in the year read something other than "19"
