Traveling to Vermont (Northfield) in June

I'll be spending a week at Norwich University in June. I should be able to get free for at least one day during the week, and I'd really like to go detecting if that happens.

If anyone is in that area, and would like to take me on a hunt I'd really appreciate it. I'm also open to heading out on my own if I can't find anyone to hunt with, but would really appreciate any tips for areas to hunt (or avoid).

I've been detecting responsibly for over 10 years and would be happy to reciprocate if anyone is going to be in the San Diego area.

I live in northern New York and been to Vermont many times. It is a beautiful place.Have fun while you are there and enjoy the scenery and good luck detecting. Steve.

dont know where northfield VT is but if its near white river or springfield VT i wouldnt mind letting you dig some of my stuff could get a group hunt going maybe

Northfield is SE of Burlington. It's about an hour and a half from Springfield.
