I'M BACK! First Hunt Since Early November 2016 (Before My First Surgery).

Today was a beautiful day and I couldn't resist. The kids and teachers are out of school -- SICK DAYS! Too many sick so they closed the schools Thursday and Friday and they will also have Monday off for President's Day. So I was out hunting this morning from about 7:30 a.m. until just before noon. I did AWESOME! I came away with $2.40 in change and I GOT GOLD! YEP! It is a 10K child's ring with a pinkish/red stone. It's tiny but I'll take it. It fits my pinky fingers. Right now it will also fit my ring fingers. Probably won't fit this summer.

Total take:

5 Quarters
7 Dimes
2 Nickels (Oldest is a 1964)
31 Zinc Pennies
4 Copper Pennies (Oldest is a 1959)

Had a blast today. Don't when I'll get out again -- hopefully for a little while tomorrow. We'll see!

As suspected -- it was raining this morning so I didn't get to get out. But I've got a chance MAYBE tomorrow afternoon. Tonight was awesome! I saw John Conlee AND got my picture taken with him! :woohoo:
