My first US Large Cent and shes got deets

Did a little surf in the morning and some turf in the afternoon. Found this 1838 LC my CTX at a location I've been scouting with my AT Pro. Feels good, I've wanted a large cent since I found my first KGII last year. Looking forward to getting back.

Very very nice, North Shore. I think that one was lost in 1839 or ‘40. She’s a beauty!

I. Was so excited to find my first LC.. when I got home I put in under the faucet and with the dirt coming off I see the word “half” above the cent. That was the old days when I didn’t know Jack !!!
