It sure isn't from lack of trying that I don't snag gold lately. It seems to be hiding where my coil is not going. I will snag some soon hopefully. But no matter, having fun is what counts.

Got a nickel signal and found the 1942 nickel under the muck and deep in the gravel. Swung my coil over the hole and got a high tone. Found the 1940 quarter. You can see where the nickel was touching it. Got a merc, a rosey and sterling ring. That was all the silver. Oldest penny is 1917. One 1960 house. The 42 nickel is not silver. Two buffalo's, a 1925 and a 1937.

Brass dog pin is unique. So is the tag that says Saunders Service. Got to look that critter up.
