Hi! I have an Eagle 2SL which I love with the little coil on. It finds silver and copper really well, but if I change the coil to the Max 900 it doesn't find stuff nearly as well.
My question is,
Why won't it find gold or platinum? Where we go, there should be at least some, but around here, the gold is pretty much from 18 to 24 K all the way, so even though it'll find my 14k wedding ring, it won't find the gold that most ppl wear around here.
I have it set to either coin and jewelry -cj or beach hunting -bh. I don't know how to set it to look for gold. Can anyone help me?
