Any one tried the Nexus?
It is said that they can find coins deeper than any other machine.

Back to the 2Box:
Are there any other models other than the famous three: White's, Discovery and Fisher?
Not necessarily American ones - not Chinese though!!

Thanx

Can't wait to dig that hole,
if only I can locate that thing.

A very, very long time ago I used to work at a car dealership.

3-4 times a week this man would come in and test drive a very expensive automobile. And he would ask so many questions.

Everyone would dread when we would see him pull up. We knew it was a few hours of questions, test drives and tire kicking. We even found out he had been going to several other dealerships in the area, doing the same things.

After about a solid month of this, he never bought a thing.

No, seriously, I am buying. But I just wat to get out of this dilema first.
:( :( :(

I know what I'm looking for, and I know it's there.
I just want the right machine to detect its exact location.

and the pics will be pouring in.

I mean it.

Reda, the Nexus is a bog standard metal detector using offset coils to obtain the extra depth. Very expensive but most of the cost is in the manufacture/alignment of the coils. George scraps a very high percentage of these coils in the final stage of manufacture. Other detector manufacturers have very wide specs and would pass them. You would have a working machine but not to any exceptional depth.
Drawback, apart from cost, is an inability to deal with bad mineralisation and or wet sand conditions.
The Saxon Ultradepth is another deep coinhunter but again can't cope with wet sand and mineralisation. In these conditions a high power P.I. is a better choice but then you lack the ferrous discrimination that the Nexus and Saxon offer.
