Holy cow my 1803 house keeps on giving, and I love it. Went over an area that I previously have. This time I took some Youtube advice, and went sloooowww with the swing. It's time consuming but man o man is it worth it. The haul was 2 flat buttons, 2 wheats, 1860 indian, 1812 & 1835 large cent. Finally my now oldest and first Mexican Mint 1/2 Reale 1744 !!!!!!!

Congrats your tearing it up. One question you sure that's a 1/2 reale looks size wise closer to a 1 reale in my opinion.

Sweet finds man, i would also say that is bigger than a half reale...
If some of the detail is gone you can ballpark them by weight, half reales from that period would be around 1.69 grams, full reales would be closer to 3.38 grams, and two reales jump up to 6.76 grams...

Thanks for the high fives, and you guys are absolutely right. It is a 1 Reale not a half. It measures just under 21 mm across.

Great job on slowing down,,, Sounds like you have a great place to hunt,,, After you check out the whole place go back over it at a difference direction,,
