Dug this item today in a outing with IDX Monster and What's buried. It appears to be Copper and hand shaved. Looks to be a arrowhead but I am not sure. It is a inch and a quarter in length. A "V" split on the back end with the sides tapered flat angled to a point. At the widest point about 3/4 of a inch. The sides at the widest are over a 1/4 thick again tapered smaller to the point. Any ideas? Trapper

Not familiar, but it looks good, and dug from a good area for the oldest of copper relics..

I'll have to look around some..

<°)))>{

hmm.. not sure, but in the last picture I can make out the bust of an oompa loompa...

though don't let this evidence steer your research in the wrong direction, it could be mere coincidence :roll:

It has the same patina and look of old copper culture.
Perhaps it is an unfinished point of some kind.
you should look through Mike's new book!
Bring it to the next meeting for us:D

That's what I thought.. copper culture.. possibly like an adze..or broken ax..wood carving tool..along that line.. definitely old looking patina..
