SOLVED: Weird Lead Mystery Object

I found this object a few inches down, in Thorp, Wisconsin. Pretty sure it is solid lead. Not attracting to a magnet. Weighs a bit over 8 ounces. Has me stumped!
Posting pics here for the first time...hoping it works.

It's an electrode from a glass jar battery, referred to as a Crow's Foot.

I am a little disappointed, though. Thought it would be an artistically designed, maybe ceremonial thingybobber.
