Coin help please

A coworker has a ring made out of a coin and doesn't know what it is. I told him the experts here would probably know. If anyone knows anything about it I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks everyone!

Interesting he would have a ring made without knowing if the coin is rare or valuable.

I have searched for a while and while guessing India, I have no clue as I can't find an exact match.
 
Interesting, I took it to mean he has a ring that is made from a coin ,not had a ring made.

if you go to the Western & Eastern Treasures Magazine website WETREASURES.com and click on "AskmarkParker" you can download a picture and he may be able to identify it for you. I've sent a few things to him and he go back to me with an ID within a couple of days. Hope that helps.
