Could be 8k gold since the 8 is above and away from the 4B. Yes they made 8 karat rings years ago.

I know I posted it before. I keep looking at it and I am positive that is a "S" over a "B" or "R" not a four. Does anyone agree? Maybe if u look in to that u will find something.

I don't believe that it is Georg Jensen or that it is from Denmark.

The Crown itself is very similar to one I've seen on old Italian pottery - try looking at European hallmarks.
