I found this button in the yard of a 100 year old house at about 4 inches. Does any one know the symbol or age?
I found this rectangular plate which seems to be made out of lead or pewter (heavy) at an older home site buried about 6 inches down. The front depicts 3 different depictions of a shoe (Side view, top view, and bottom view). I havent ever seen anything like this. My only hypothesis is that you would put ink on this and print it an paper. Maybe someone smarter can figure it out.
