Buckle

I found this at a ghost town. It's 2.5"X2". No idea of age or what the anchor means. Help :grin:

It could be a cow or steer halter.... They had anchors on them Terry.

You should know that, you live in that part of the country famous for them mooey things :D

The "Anchor" brand was used by North & Judd from 1878 until at least 1971, when they were bought out by Gulf Western. They produced spurs, bits, and other parts for horse tack and harness. I have a bridle with the same shape buckles that I had made in the '90s. It's a common style for what I consider higher end (substantial) hardware. Could be old, but I would think it's fairly modern.
