Help identifying this airplane pin

I tumbled upon this this afternoon in a quick hunt. My wife thinks it is air force related. I thought it was a button at first but it has 2 studs on the back. Any help in identifying and age is greatly appreciated.

Yep, WWII enlisted man, Army Air Corps. I have one from my father's uniform.
