I was searching my parent's farm in Indiana this weekend and dug up this REO ignition switch plate. I'd like to be able to ID it to the year and model. I've been searching online but haven't had any luck. The best I can tell it may have come from an earlier model (1905-1917) based on the logo comparisons. The long tail on the "R" seems to be common on those earlier models.
Also, I found this small black sphere a few inches from the plate. Fairly sure it's a gear shift knob. Could be another part of the REO?
Even if I can't date these, they were a lot of fun to find!!
