This is my 11 year old Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Her 2nd year of b-ball and she's getting pretty uber. they played 6 games this past saturday, won 5, lost 1. She had double digit steals/points/blocked shots and rebounds in each game.

granted she's 5' 4"....but she's a coordinated and talented 5' 4"!

Way to go!!!

I remember I did a perfect textbook hook shot during a game where both my parents were attending in 2nd grade during the early 1990's. It was the best feeling ever to make a cool hook shot swish in front of my parents.

All that atheleticism must be from your gene pool! :cool:

alot of it comes from the wife. She was a state track athlete and some of her records are still there 20yrs later.

I was always pretty sportslike/athletic. Played bball/baseball/football/wrestled/powerlifting/golf.

but I think the height comes from wife's side. She's almost 6' tall. Her 3 sisters are all 5'10" or taller. Her uncles are all well over 6' 2". I'm only 5' 11 1/2" (the extra 1/2 counts!). my brother/dad/cousins all break the 6' mark.

I told her we'd keep practicing and she could go make that money for daddy int he wnba.
