Silver coin # 1 fty is a 1954 Ben Franklin Half!! Also dug 24 wheat pennies!! Also a silver plated kids spoon, one of those Heads I win tails you lose tokens, a 1912 Robert Lafolette Presidential Campaign pin!!

Some very fine hunting Digger. Congrats on big Ben, all the Wheat's including the "10's", the Sterling and all the rest. Love the "Fighting Bob La Follette" Presidential campaign pin. 3rd one I've seen this year. Trapper

Pretty awesome hunt OD. Some great finds, definitely believe there is more potential in that spot!

Large silver is always great. A nice find. If Ohio is anything like PA right now you were either cold or slopping in mud. Either way your dedication to getting out this time of year is putting a few of us to shame.

Pretty sweet that you’re actually able to HUNT! No snow? No rock hard ice to chisel through? You lucky lucky LUCKY dog!
That’s a very nice first silver,my SECOND silver of the year was a Walker! Weird stuff I tellz ya....but then I haven’t been able to hunt since. Gettin’ sketchy around the house, cabin fever has come and gone and now it’s “rubber room” time....:jail:

I got lucky, last week had 4 days in the 50s and 60s, melted all the snow and softened up the ground, but it also made everything extremely muddy!! Last 2 days it has been in the 20s but dress warm and out the door I go lol.... but the ground is starting to freeze back up, so my days are gonna be limited again till the next thaw....

That's amazing that your first silver FTY is a big, honkin' Franklin half! That one is on my bucketlist. Big congrats on the big silver and other great finds! That sterling ring looks to be a big one.
