Default Some Saturday Silver

Went out for a couple hours today and managed to find 2.14 in clad, 1944 Wheatie, 1948 Roosevelt Dime, and a silver ring. I have seen the emblem on the ring before but don't really know what it is. Its fairly thick and heavy but someone decided to cut the band in the back so that they could adjust the size. I was still very happy to find it though. Have a good day everyone.

I believe that ring is a Thunderbird, an Indian design. I have found several of them over the years.

Great hunt!

One silver keeps me happy for the day.

I spent about a year in your neck of the woods. Lived in Dallas for awhile. I sure wish I was metal detecting at the time.

Thanks for posting.

Nice ring.. that is the Thunderbird design, and it has the jewelers initials inside... could be an Indian silversmith. RickO
