Ring with 925K marking

Hit a small park near my folks house and pulled this ring out of the tot lot. It came up as a 24 on my Xterra 505. Looks nice and was happy once I saw the 925 stamp. Then I noticed a it was actually marked 925K. Google wasn't much help on the subject as opinions seemed to vary wildly as to its meaning.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, I found the same info. I will take it for what it is...silver. Thought it could have been something unique as the maker actually stamped the size as well, which i havent seen on the other 925 rings Ive found.
