Well, After seeing others go out today, I decided to hit it for an hour myself (16F and sunny here)
I looked through my notebook and found a school where I hunted last January as the playground area has rubber chips.
Found over $3.50 in clad, a Panamanian penny and a .925 ring.
Very happy to get out
HH everybody:D

Awesome. Way to get out there. Well over a foot of snow by me, so detecting is out for me. How frozen was it?

Not frozen too bad

Luckily, the rubber chips do not freeze, so scrape away 2" of snow and the Lesch does the rest!!

hahah well i sure thought about going out as well but did not have or know of a rubber chip park to hit..but I just worked on my 3030 and created more programs to try out this spring.

ansd i thought i was the ony nut case in hunting in 26 degree weather today congratsssssssssssssss

Congrats on your great hunt - bet it was a blast playing in the snow...but I'd rather have my Florida weather. Today I started off this morning with a sweat shirt and went to just my t-shirt by 9:00 and sweated so much I took a shower when I first got home. Regardless - your turf yielded better than mine where I only landed $1.49 in clad with 1 wheatie.
