After a couple not-so-productive hunts, I was again hitting an area that had previously held silver, but sweeping it at a 90 degree angle from my first go around. Sure enough, pulled a '51 Rosie this morning. About 3" down and would only register at one angle. Turning 90 degrees produced no signal adding to one of the many possible reasons why I might have missed it on my first hunt of this area. :neat: Looks like I hit it with the digger, but that's gonna happen sometimes.

i get that a lot with my f2, as well; i think the cheaper detectors have more of an issue with the 90º bit than most others do. nice work!

Nice ol' Rosie!

Headed out tomorrow for a hunt with a detectorist from Paris (Texas, that is). Hope we do as well as you! Gotta remember to grab new batteries for my F2!

Way to go! I'm still waiting for my first. I'm new to MD'ing and have gone over areas that I did earlier and found lots more as I learned my machine
