Gold nuggets with xp deus?

Gold maxx, yes it will barely hit my .117 nugget I have. Amazing detector!

Just about any detector will hit a large nugget, but those are rare. The deus is very sensitive from what I can tell (never used one). I would say put on your smallest coil and try. You could practice by using small pieces of lead. All the nugget detectors I have used could hit a #8 bird shot when close to the coil. If the Deus will do that you should be good. If it wont you should still try. Nugget hunting is hard and usually not successful first time out.
