Found this little tool at Walmart for $7. They have a longer one but I think this is ideal!

Have you tried it yet? Do you have trouble finding the target with the bend in the shaft?

I used it in semi frozen ground today in my front yard after sweeping away snow. Best coin pop I’ve had! I tried it this morning right after I bought it.

If it has sharp edges i would round them off. Less chances of scratching a coin.

It’s actually called an 8” pry bar. It works really well. I used a screw driver as a guide to go under the edge of the coins then insert this. Lay the screw driver behind the pry bar and pop the coins out. Had more leverage.
