first silver of the year and other stuff

Found my first silver of 2018 after hours and hours of swinging. It has a bit of pocket wear but I'll take it. The button was found a few feet away from the half dime. Both were about 2 inches down. I think this is a situation where the bull dozer must have taken a few inches off the top soil. Not sure what the badge represents and don't know how old it could be. Thanks for looking folks.

That’s a great coin,and the other stuff is a bonus..I find a lot of 1800s coins here in pa,most are from 2 to 5 inches.

Thanks, all tthese places that I'm working have been cleared with a bull dozer at some point in the last 20 yearss apart from one site that burned down in the 40s. It was left untouched for 75 years. Only plowed and mowed.
