Finally got out for an hour hunt near The Battle of Wilderness. Found a couple bullets including a pulled one and some brass stuff. Fun to get out! not sure what the "0" looking pieces are. Strap adjusters?

Nice finds, looks like you have a pulled bullet, Williams cleaner bullet and the oval pieces are saddle eyelet Grommets.

Very nice hunt. Love the Williams cleaner and the pulled bullet. The grommets are Civil War related... we have dug some on two of our sites, but I can't give you a definite answer on what they were used on. I tend to believe saddle as well, but not certain. Congrats on a very productive hunt.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "pulled lead" refer to?

When a bullet was stuck in the barrel of a musket, they would "pull" the bullet out with a bullet worm. It would screw into the top of the minieball and extract it.
