need help to identify this cartridge case.pic. 1+2
i found it on a plowed field.

i checked other fields near by
and was wondering about this foundation structure on pic. 3+4
the dimension from north to south are 54 yards with small squares inside.

i asked a friend and he said he seen this in bunker constructions.
i found 2 other of those foundations close by.
in the west and north.and on one field a set of straight lines they look like walls
facing the east lightly north.
the city the walls facing is Dortmund and known for steel.
might this bunker system was for protection of the city Dortmund and this cartridge case is from a german Flak.
but M can be Milwaukee.
is this cartridge from a british or american WW2 plane?
more pics follow.
i would like to metal detecting there next days and figure out whats under the soil.

i know that there a tractor tire tracks to see on those pics.
but the squares are hard to run in with a tractor.

Archaeologists using birdview picture to find historic buildings under the soil.
mostly plants grow measly on less soil because of walls right under.
next to walls where is more soil the plants grow perfect.

that can give those secrects about hidden foundations of tear down buildings
free.

Hello there !
M = Milwaukee Ordnance Plant (American manufacturer in WW2)
4 = 1944 (year of manufacture)
When she was still living in her flowering life, she would have flown with an American Stuka

thanks matmit,:dingding:
i found my cartridge case.

Twin Cities Ordnance Plant
Operated by the Federal Cartridge Company from 1941-45.
This company produced .30, .45, and .50 caliber ammunition.

Roman camp instead of german defense bunkers ????
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hallo Fear_me_Punk,
Not only that, but also tanks and wheeled vehicles come into question, because the Kal-.50 was very common among the Allies.

PS: The drawings in the field look more like a Roman camp than to WK 2,
Modern lines of defense are always strongly jagged against air raids.
