Congrats! I'm still hoping for a hunt that good. It would be a highlight of the season. I would love to find a Barber ... any kind.
Oh no. I learned my vinegar lesson when I first picked up the hobby as a young teeenager. I completely ruined my very first Indian with vinegar. With this V nickel I decided to just poke around gently with a tooth pick. The crust/patina was literally the only thing holding most of the detail together. No real loss though, as putting it in with my other V's would've knocked the crust off any way. Sometimes there's just no way a coin can be brought back to life.
