I already posted this in the War area, but I figured it would get more views here. It was found with CW relics, but we know that doesn't mean anything! I thought it was a blown out rifle case at first. It is actually made this way with seperate pieces like it was made to expand and go over anther pipe or fitting. Any ideas?

It looks similar, but I don't think it is off of a regular flask. The splayed end would have to be pretty far down in the flask.

My next guess is the insert for a calligraphy pen... the tips would slide into this...

Maybe an old paint brush ferrel. Hair in the big end, handle in the small.

Looks like what's left of a rusty limb lopper or possibly a nail puller.

Also you'll get more response if you start a new thread...

Kind of agree. Maybe a wire cutter, fence tool etc.
