Diamonds? What is this?

I found this a few weeks ago. I'm wondering what it is. It's about 3 inches across.

It these where real diamonds, I'd be able to fund a new metal detector.

I wouldn't count on the being real and if they were good luck trying to get rid of it for a good price. Its so hard to get rid of things with diamonds. Trust me I know. I ha 4 diamond rings and I could sell them for anything but melt!

unlikely that so much diamonds would be made into such poor metal.
