Since Get Diggin Auctions has not been doing as well as I truly had hoped (and some reason my SEO and web dev STILL have not fixed the darn log in issue. I have been thinking about making it a Store only site for me to sell our best selling items on. I will let everyone know if I make a true "online" store, because I know the main reason I wanted the auction site was because I wanted it to run itself until I finished Business School, but a lot of items I sell have been becoming more and more popular so I may put time into that, with my dad wanting me to take over the "family" business, I really wanted to build my own thing with Get Diggin, so we will see what happens =]

My hobby maybe Metal Detecting, but my true PASSION is cars & motorcycles, so after school my plans are to open a Motor Garage or sorts, so basically I am starting a profitable e-Commerce business to build profit over the next 18 months left of school to have a big enough down payment on a new SHOP! weeeeee. By the way, I would consider selling getdiggin.com, the KILLER logo and the auction software to someone if they think they has what it takes to make it work! because I have SO much time invested into it and I truly believe it SHOULD work, I guess I just do not have the right stuff right now for it. I have a couple grand invested into it lol, although I wouldn't want anywhere near that for it, but if you think you could make it work I would LOVE to see if succeed! and I think the logo design is awesomely awesome! hehe. I can hook you up with all the advertising EPS', graphics, website hosting which is paid for couple years, as well as domain (I think one year on domain, but that's cheap) the most expensive thing was the auction software which is easy to use and customize! AND a lot of the SEO is done, but takes a bit to start showing better on search engines because of how they do it.

Even if I switch it over to a Personal Store (if someone want getdiggin.com I would still make something else for a personal store) I will still do cool give a way and still support FMDF members with cool deals, etc. I will keep everyone updated, and give everyone a idea on what will be available there too!

It really sucks I cannot make getdiggin.com into what I KNOW it has the potential to be, but I lack the "connections" really, I do not have the best means of advertising. PLEASE NOTE that what ever happens to getdiggin.com that kidsgetdiggin.org will still 100% be up and running and helping, I wish I had more time to invest into that to be honest lol there is soooo much more interest in that then I had thought, but with school I cannot invest more then a couple families a month right now. and that is made possible by awesome donations for awesome dealers, manufacturers and personal donations! so thanks to all for that too! Backwoods Metal Detector Sales (Richard is like a amazing person) also Whites Electronics and Garrett! I am not sure how many people do charity work, but I tell you what, I LOVE giving something to anyone! its really just a feeling that cannot be explained, especially when they are less fortunate children who never would be able to get the item you are giving them. The look in their eyes, its a amazing thing for sure, and the people who donate are the people who make that possible for those families! Also please note that kidsgetdiggin.org is STILL under construction, the 2 more complicate sections are taking awhile because the developer is working as a "donation" free of charge so only can do it in his free time, but when it is done its going to be AWESOME cause the families are going to be able to make profiles on the site and tell their stories and share pictures and videos and keep us all updated on their adventures with the donated equipment! Right now I am awaiting two Garrett Ace250s that are being donated to a Mother and 6 year old Daughter and also a Grandfather and his 11 year old handicap grandson who is planing on metal detecting and donating anything they find to their church! so its kinda like a double donation thing there! hehe, anyways be sure to keep checking up on that too. and contact me at kids@getdiggin.com if you have any questions or what ever on taking part in the program too!

Now that I talked everyone's ear off lol, I am going to go ahead and study a little bit before I get to sore to sit at the computer anymore, we have a storm here in thumb area Michigan and the weather is killing me pain wise. OH by the way, if you are from thumbish area Michigan and know of a good Pain Management doctor PLEASE let me know. I am unable to continue seeing my Doctor of YEARS because of some silly change the hospital is doing and the Doctor the hospital is shipping everyone off to does not take Medicaid, how silly is that? a Pain Management doctor not accepting Medicaid is as silly as it comes, because most people going there are DISABLED! lol /sigh

Hi FMDF,

A lot of you may know that I run a small Charitable Program for Children called Kids Get Diggin'. I have worked with a few Companies and Dealers, plus private donations and personally funded, to bring the awesomeness of Metal Detecting to less fortunate children and their families to keep them active and out of trouble. Over the past few months we have helped about a dozen Families and gave away half a dozen full Detector packages that include a good full size unit (various brands depending on donations received), Digging tools, Pouches, Etc. even a few Pin Pointers. Garrett and White's really helped out with donations, and a couple dealers pitched in as well. We are to a point where we have the families in need, but the inventory has dwindled, our goal is to try and help 3-4 more Families before Christmas. We have a couple Families we are in the mists of trying to help, and a couple others we had to put on hold due to lack of donations.
