new md

well I dont think I could have been luckier today.A guy at work sold me a fisher 1212-X for $20.00,I have been wanting to get a second md so I could get my wife hooked and then I could have a partner to go with, I know selfish me but hey what the heck.I read the on-line manual for it but can anyone tell me form personal experience or hearsay any thing about the 1212X,will this do the trick to get the wifey-poo hooked till I can get something better,or should I keep looking
