Love those big moths, don't see 'em often. That one's a Polyphemus.
My favorite is the lime green Luna moth.

Cool moth, natures camouflage is amazing.
Funny story, years ago a bunch of us were out fishing one night on a dam. One side of the dam, the water was about 5 feet below us, other side, about a 100 foot drop. Halfway across the dam there was a fence and wall that was were the floodgates started, at this fence was a really bright light, I guess so security could make sure no one tried crossing the fence. Anyway this light was a major attractant for bugs and these large moths. One guy caught one of those large moths and thought it would make good bait. He hooked it to his line and cast it out and the moth just kept flying around , the moth started reaching the end of the line and started flying up and down and around in circles and during this time the boys line started wrapping around him and he started spinning around trying to keep from being tangled in the line. Luckily, while we were laughing our half drunken butts off, this boy lost his balance and he luckily fell into the lake on the water side. This made us laugh even harder, but we were able to get him back up onto the dam. Maybe you'd just have to of been there, but, just old memories from a different time.
