i've been playing around a bit with the ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) and snapping some pics along the way, lol.
too bad i don't have a detector attached to it but the eye ball finds are certainly there! i've already done a few small recoveries with the machine... few fishing rods, glasses, some trash targets just for practice, haha.
anywho, here's a few shots from under the surface, hope ya like them! it's not quite metal detecting in the general sense, but still treasure hunting and exploring. if the demand is there, i'll post s'more in the future.
thanks for looking,
Pete
1. a "furry" bicycle and a school of herring guarding it.
2. another bike, less the herring, LOL.
3. a fishing rod with some stuff growing on it.
4. managed to get a "selfie" from about 5 or 6 feet under the surface!
5. a good sized lobster! he went into attack mode when he realized i was sneaking up behind it, haha!! and NO, i did not try grabbing it nor will i make any attempts to do so.
6. top left... that's a fishing reel just laying there on the bottom, no rod.
all of these were taken on the same "dive", depth ranged from 18 to 23 feet deep, Camera used was an Olympus TG Tracker with no external lighting used.
