I found this old Indian Obsidian Knife a few weeks ago and I just started reading the history behind it of how valuable of a stone it is to the Native Indians. Men would go to great lengths to not mention they even have this stone and would go to extremes to hide it. I am really wondering just how valuable it is?

Cool find I have no idea what it's value is but depending where you live and found it there's probably a Indian tribe that could help locally.

I was thinking of taking to the U of A and having them date it and maybe they can tell what tribe it's from. I also read that years before the Indians the Mexican's also use these stones and both the Indians and Mexican's used them for human sacrifices, for cutting flesh and bone.

Value wise it's literally worthless but be on the lookout for arrowheads in the vicinity.
