Does anyone recognize this button? Just curious what the markings are in the center. It's two sections, one is copper and the other is pewter I believe. It has cut triangles around the edges. It was found about 4 inches away from the place I found the 1777 button.

The pattern in the centre is where the guilding has come off.

Its late 18th century - early 19th century.

Don't have a clue about it, but it's cool looking!!
