So my friend and I happened upon a house with a nice looking older lady outside in Middletown Ohio. We were looking for a permission and the lady said sure. She mentioned that a man who started a box company built the home in the 1920s for his children. Well, we found a few silver coins and I found this cool sterling pendant thing. When I got home, I researched the name Inland Boxes and found out the company was started by Herman C Krannert in 1925 based in Indiana. A second plant was opened in Middletown Oh around 1930 and then the name changed to Inland Container Corporation. So, this man Mr Krannert and his wife end up being very successful with all sorts of museums, hospitals, and libraries named after them! Pretty cool! I want to contact their children and see if they want the item but I haven't been able to find out who their children were just yet. Or Perhaps a museum would want it. That would be super cool! I emailed the Indiana Historical Society to see what they say.
