Hi,
I am considering the possibility of buying one of these glasses
for video recording my diggs .Did anyone use one of these?
How good they are and what quality of image ? -Any ideas?

I've gone through several pairs of the $35 sunglasses, they aren't too bad, while they work. Battery only lasts about an hour. Think mine have failed due to moisture getting in, or just the heat.

Thanks guys for the input.
I wonder if these glasses can video record images with enough
sharpness within short distance too :?:
I don't think it has auto-focus function .....
T
Are the batteries interchangeables?

Both mine are fixed focus which means closeups are not that great. They also use USB to charge the batteries.

Once the batteries are completely dead,is it possible to insert new ones or should you discard the glasses?

Wow! Thanks for the video. I've been thinking about the pivot heads for about a year now. Was just waiting for their release. I just cant justify $350 for them yet. :(

That's the best review I've seen. Thanks a lot!

Not sure. I've had them almost a year and never had a reason to see if the batteries are replaceable. I just recharge them by hooking the glasses up to my computers USB port.

Thanks.
I'm going after one of these now ;)

hmmm... may be a pocket camcorder will do better. Some of them have close up and can still, too.

The kodak for example had this and was very nice. Depends on what you're going to spend.

I already have a couple good camcorders .I am now after one of these
very small cams to be mounted on my glasses - this way I can use my
both hands for digging the target on live digs videos.
By mounting the camera on the glasses you can be sure to get the correct
angle and don't miss any details.
These cameras are not expensive and could be a good alternative .
I am even thinking in buying one of these pen/lighter cameras and adapt
it to my glasses's frame :cool:- We'll see....;)
PS.:
I guess a HD cam would get better resolution....?
