1600s mystery items key?? Gun parts?

I found these items in a mid 1600s era Native American location. I know they are very old but I have no clue what they are. The one sort of looks like a tiny knife blade maybe some sort of tool or gun part? The other looks a lot like a key but it doesn't have a bit. It does taper on the end though. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thank you,

Yeah maybe it went through an oblong hole and turned so it wouldn't pull through.

While the one piece looks like a hammer for a firearm I would think that it would need a hole for a pin to pivot on.

Your pin is a keeper pin similar to the ones shown.

and your hammer looking piece is half of a pair of scissors similar to the one pictured.

good eyes on the scissors, Once you said that, it was so obvious I couldn't believe I didn't see it right away.
