I gained permission to hunt 18 acres containing two 1950s houses and several out buildings. I gave it a test hunt today and ended up with my first silver coins and several pennies. I can't wait to go back when the heat is down. The two jewlery pieces are fake but pretty.

Apparently that was the only silver in the place. After three hunts, including one with a fellow detectorist, this is the only other interesting find. A fired 45 call hollow point. Pretty sure I would go down if you just threw it at me real hard.
